If you’re looking to work for a market leader, we are looking for a Clinic Manager to work in our Cheltenham clinic, which offers consultations for Laser Eye Surgery and private eye examinations. The role will have full responsibility for managing the performance of the team, across our healthcare brands Optical Express and sk:n. The role will include management responsibilities for our Worcester consultation clinic.
Position details
Role: Clinic Manager
Hours of work: 40 hours per week including Saturdays
Salary: From £32,000 plus bonus
Location: Cheltenham clinic (with management responsibilities for Worcester clinic)
Key Responsibilities
You will be customer facing and help drive performance for the practice. You’ll also be responsible for the daily operational efficiency of the practice; a key part of your role will be developing the team and promoting the benefits of laser surgery to patients.

* Ensure the practice is presentable and maintained to the highest standards of tidiness and cleanliness which showcase the professional image of Optical Express
* Help recruit, induct, coach and support your team to ensure all team members meet acceptable levels of knowledge and competence
* Ensure the team influences and advises potential patients on the most suitable and appropriate solution for their needs

What we’re looking for
You will have strong management experience within an Optical setting or high-end retail. You’ll be adept at delivering great results through your passion for people and by working closely with members of your team to develop them through performance management. It goes without saying that you’ll possess excellent communication and presentation skills, be articulate, motivated to achieve and have a willingness to learn and progress within Optical Express.
