Audit Quality Assurance Manager – Financial Services
Join to apply for the Audit Quality Assurance Manager – Financial Services role at RSM UK. As a Manager in the Quality Assurance Department (QAD), you will design and deliver a programme of audit assurance activities to support the audit business and the wider firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Completing audit assurance reviews with focus on financial services clients
* Supporting other QA reviewers, including managers and RIs from the business, with completion of audit assurance reviews
* Completing other QA reviews and activities as needed to provide required assurance to the audit business and wider firm
* Identifying and delivering feedback to relevant parties, including examples of good practice, to support continuous improvement in audit quality
* Identifying and implementing changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
Key Requirements
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Experienced Manager with a strong background in financial services engagements
* Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards; audit regulatory experience is preferential but not essential
* Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues concisely and understandably
* Ability to share new ideas and challenge current working methods appropriately
