Autism Support Assistant BarnetContract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)Pay: £105.00 per day (PAYE)Interviews: June/July 2025Are you a high-achieving Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a school environment? We are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant to join a well-regarded boys secondary school in Barnet, supporting students aged 1116 with additional needs and targeted interventions.As an Autism Support Assistant, you will work closely with students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, focusing on those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), as well as associated needs such as ADHD and anxiety. Youll be part of a dynamic support team, contributing to both the academic and emotional development of students through one-to-one and small group work.Autism Support Assistant - In this role, you will:Support students with Autism in mainstream lessons, working alongside classroom teachersDeliver targeted interventions that promote emotional regulation and social communicationWork in partnership with the SEND department to track and support student progressHelp pupils build independence, confidence, and effective learning routinesThis role is particularly suited to aspiring educational or clinical psychologists, teachers, or anyone interested in mental health, SEN support, or youth work.
