Job Title:Marketing Officer (Part-Time)
Reporting to:Head and Senior Management Team (SMT)

Working Hours:Part-Time (Flexible hours to be agreed)
Job Purpose:
To support the implementation of the school’s marketing strategy, working closely with the Head and SMT to enhance the school’s visibility, reputation, and engagement with current and prospective families. This role involves coordinating promotional activities, managing social media content, liaising with external agencies, and supporting partnership development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms.
* Coordinate and support promotional events and community engagement activities.
* Manage and schedule content for the school’s social media feeds, ensuring alignment with brand and tone.
* Liaise with external agencies (e.g., designers, photographers, PR firms) to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
* Maintain and update marketing databases, mailing lists, and CRM systems.
* Support the development of partnerships with local organisations.
* Work collaboratively with teaching and administrative staff, particularly the SMT, to gather content and insights for marketing purposes.
* Monitor and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics.
* Ensure brand consistency across all communications and materials.
* Contribute to the school’s marketing and strategy meetings.
Person Specification:
Essential:
* Previous experience working within a marketing team, ideally in an educational setting.
* Strong administrative skills and familiarity with marketing systems and tools (e.g., CMS, social media scheduling platforms, email marketing software).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
* Collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues and external partners.
Desirable:
* Experience in independent or prep school marketing.
* Knowledge of GDPR and safeguarding considerations in school communications.
* Creative flair and confidence in producing engaging content.
