THE ROLE
As a Materials Planner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials for manufacturing operations.
Forecasting and generating purchase orders to secure necessary materials.
Maintaining the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system for data accuracy.
Ensuring all materials meet strict quality and specification standards.
Monitoring production volumes and supply chain performance.
Implementing solutions to address supply chain challenges.
Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.
Producing detailed reports to support the Purchasing and Materials Management team's strategy. YOU
What are we looking for -
Education: Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong time management, communication, and organisational abilities.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in Material Management/Inventory ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on results.
Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs.
Certifications: MCIPS, APICS, or equivalent qualifications (or qualified by experience) Location - Bala, Corwen, Ruthin, Llangollen, Wrexham, Mold
