The Opportunity
Are you dedicated and experienced in managing reservations? We're looking for a Assistant Reservations Manager. to lead our reservations department and ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
* Lead the Department: Oversee the reservations department, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all reservations.
* Maximize Success: Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
* Guide the Team: Manage a team of reservation agents, providing training and guidance as needed.
* Deliver Excellence: Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
* Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations and cancellations.
* Coordinate Efforts: Liaise with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a coordinated approach to reservations.
* Report Progress: Prepare regular reports on reservations and revenue for senior management.
* Analyze Data: Identify trends and patterns in reservation data and implement strategies to address any issues.
* Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working in a reservations supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* Excellent leadership and management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure.
* A good understanding of revenue management principles.
* Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Proficiency in reservation management systems and Microsoft Office.
* A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
