St Edmund’s is a popular Voluntary Aided secondary school in the heart of Portsmouth and serves a wide area. It is an Outstanding school (Ofsted 2016) serving a diverse population.
The school is currently recruiting for the following Support Staff vacancies:
Shift Details
1. Early Shift: 6am to 2.30pm (2pm on a Friday)
2. Late Shift: 9am – 5.30pm (5pm on a Friday)
One Year Temporary Contract to Start March/April 2025
We have a vacancy for a highly motivated and effective Caretaker to join the school’s hardworking Site Team, to help provide a safe and healthy environment for our students.
Duties to include litter picking, driving, general cleaning, moving furniture and deliveries, and general maintenance. Experience of DIY/maintenance would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who will take pride in maintaining the whole site to ensure it is a welcoming environment for the students, staff, and visitors. Previous relevant experience or training would be an advantage, but full induction and ongoing training will be provided.
