We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Support Person to help maintain the day-to-day operations of two busy business centres. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the premises are clean, safe, and in excellent working order. This will initially be on a Temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Routine inspections and basic repairs (e.g. leaks, lighting).
* Cleaning and upkeep of common areas, bathrooms, and vacant offices.
* General maintenance of the exterior grounds (e.g. weeding, sweeping).
* Painting and decorating as needed.
* Managing supplies and reporting needs to the Facilities Manager.
* Responding quickly to urgent maintenance requests.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
* Monthly readings of electricity meters.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role.
* Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
* A team player who can also work independently.
* Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
* Own transport is essential
Location: Between sites in New Romney and Folkestone
Hours: 9.00am - 2.30pm 2 days per week
