We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with either mechanical experience or qualifications to develop their career through extensive training and support, working on backshift as part of a growing and forward-thinking team.
Location: Corby
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm
Pay: £16.20 per hour (40 hours per week - all hours paid)
Duties:
Operating 2-3 machines as part of a small team
Loading machinery with metal reels
Performing basic quality checks on finished products
Unloading machines and preparing products for dispatch
Supporting the machine setter and wider team with smooth production flow
Ensuring a clean and safe working environmentThe ideal candidate must:
Have a mechanical background - either through hands-on experience or a relevant qualification
Be comfortable operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
Be reliable, process-driven, and have a strong work ethic
Be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Be open to learning and developing new skillsBenefits:
