About the role
Personal Assistant 15 Hours a week – Flexible working days
Southport
Main responsibilities.
To provide support to 3 children with an ASD diagnosis
living in the Southport area of Sefton.
This can be a job share or full 15 hours
This will include support individually or as a group.
I am looking for a friendly, patient, and caring
person to support with independent skills, to explore places in the community
with and to have fun playing and doing social activities.
Duties (day to day)
Provide 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 support. Depending on activity
Promote independent skills.
Support to participate in activities that they enjoy and
help to discover new ones.
Support to access the wider community and possibly explore
new environments. Help to keep safe whilst out and about.
Essential skills
You must be friendly, empathetic, and enthusiastic about
caring for others.
Ideally have experience of supporting children/young people
with additional needs.
Willingness to build up and develop positive relationships.
Be patient, kind and trustworthy.
Have good communication skills and the ability to be
punctual and reliable.
Ability to be creative and use your own initiative
