HGV Drainage Engineer
Location: Essex/Kent Area
Salary: Depending on experience
Employment: Full Time, 4 On 4 Off Shift Pattern
We are looking for an experienced HGV Drainage Engineer to operate a tanker, visiting client sites such as industrial estates, retail parks, shopping centres and office buildings. The role involves conducting drainage works for both planned maintenance and emergency response.
Key Duties
* Operate an HGV tanker to carry out pre‑planned maintenance works.
* Maintain the vehicle and equipment in optimal condition.
* Operate the vacuum tanker and manage wastewater.
* Adhere to all health and safety policies and follow safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation.
* Work with an assistant to ensure all information is accurately recorded and communicated to the office.
* Support the CCTV & Drainage teams by facilitating surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works.
Qualifications
* At least one year of experience in the drainage industry.
* Class 2 licence minimum.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and keen attention to detail.
