The Opportunity
This energy group are on a rapid phase of growth, acceleration and expansion which has created the requirement for an Inhouse M&A Consultant. The assignment presents the opportunity to get involved in some highly exciting and varied transactions, especially as the group is extremely well backed & funded with deep pockets to convert it's strategic objectives into reality.
The key components will include:
* Origination
* Due diligence
* Project management
* Management of debt raise transactions
* Q&A management
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an M&A professional that could come from one of the following backgrounds:
* Corporate finance within an Accountancy Firm
* Qualified Lawyer
* Inhouse Investment/Corporate Development
Energy or renewables exposure would be highly advantageous. Applicants would ideally be available for a December start, but the worse case 5th Jan 2026. It's essential the successful candidate can be in the Edinburgh office 3 days per week so remote applications won't be considered.
