At BMS, weve been engaged by a global data and consulting leader to recruit a Business Development Manager for their commercial property team. The Role
As a Business Development Manager, youll be responsible for generating new business and building relationships across the property and investment market.
* Win new logo clients among retailers, shopping centres, hedge funds / PE firms
* Lead with insight - selling data-driven consulting projects that answer key investment and operational questions.
* Manage long-cycle, complex deals with stakeholders at C-suite, analytics and finance director level.
* Blend leads from BDRs, events and research with your own self-sourced pipeline.
* Typical sales cycles of 1-3 months, requiring a thoughtful, consultative approach.
* KPI expectations include 16 meetings per month, of which at least 8 are new business.
The Candidate
Were looking for a bright, driven salesperson who has:
* 3+ years of full-cycle closing experience selling to corporate customers.
* Ideally within the world of consulting, data or bespoke tech (not essential)
* Strong proposal writing skills and the ability to craft compelling business cases.
* Experience selling into senior decision-makers (CEO, CIO, Directors).
* A thoughtful, intelligent approach to business development - not "spray and pray."
* Drive, resilience, and a structured sales process mindset.
The Package
* Basic Salary: £50,000-£70,000 (DOE)
* OTE: £100,000+ (uncapped)
