Your Role
As an Integrated Manufacturing Technician, you’ll join a dynamic maintenance team at our state-of-the-art facility in Wolverhampton. This multi-skilled role offers you the chance to:
* Provide engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment.
* Work with advanced technologies, including automated equipment, robots, and complex tooling.
* Contribute to the production of Battery Packs, Electric Drive Units, and other electrification machinery.
Whether you’re an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or a multiskilled engineer, we’ll equip you with the training and support you need to excel. You’ll have access to industry-leading training programs, including Siemens, Kuka, and ABB Robotics Training, all while working in one of the cleanest and most modern factories around.
What to Expect
As a vital member of our Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime while adhering to safe working practices.
* Conducting preventive maintenance checks and ensuring timely completion.
* Implementing permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
* Participating in weekend/shutdown work and delivering projects as needed.
* Embracing ongoing training opportunities as required by the business.
What You'll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering.
* Significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with CNC Machining Centres and related systems, including conveyor systems and auxiliary equipment.
* A solid understanding of Siemens PLCs and electrical fault-finding techniques.
