Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive educational setting, working with pupils across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. This role is offered on a supply basis initially, with a strong opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.
The Role:
1. Provide tailored support to pupils in KS2 and KS3, both in and out of the classroom
2. Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
3. Support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential
4. Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment
5. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
7. Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting individual learning needs
8. Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
9. Be proactive and able to use initiative in a classroom setting
Desirable (but not essential):
10. A full UK driving licence
11. A current DBS registered on the Update Service
