Job Description:
Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, and providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our research pushes the boundaries of end-of-life care, and our campaigns advocate for a world where everyone has the best possible quality of life while living with a terminal illness.
Our mission for the next five years is to close the gap in access to end-of-life care through:
* Growing and transforming our direct care and support
* Providing more practical information and support
* Leading in shaping the end-of-life experience
Your role in our mission:
We’re hiring 5 Community Fundraisers for the UK regions of North London, Cornwall, and Bradford/Leeds. Our Fundraising team is vital for our work. Since the pandemic, fundraising has evolved, but community engagement remains crucial, and we are investing in it. It’s an exciting time to join us, with ambitious goals to achieve.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Region, you will build and develop community fundraising relationships, support Fundraising Groups and Volunteers, and help raise vital funds through events and initiatives.
