Would you like to work for a growing local business that has the job security of being part of a multi:billion:pound global industrial manufacturer. Due to gaining more customers and future growth plans, they are looking for some maintenance engineers to join their team.
Role And Responsibilities Of a Maintenance Engineer
* Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs of all production machinery, industrial processing equipment, site services and utilities
* Dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, rollers, belts, drives
* Follow PPM schedules, continuous improvement projects
* Electrical : PLC fault finding, repair and wiring control panels, switches, sensors, contactors
* Mechanical : fabrication, fitting, welding, manual machining to make parts/repairs
Knowledge, skills and experience need to be a maintenance engineer:
* Open to either electrical or mechanical biased maintenance engineers
* Apprenticeship trained
* Qualified : NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 or higher in engineering
* Must have worked in some form of manufacturing environment
* Team player and positive character
* Worked on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drives
* Electrical biased skills : PLC fault finding, wiring / repairs control panels, sensors, switches
* Mechanical biased skills : fabrication, fitting, welding, machining : milling, turning, grinding, lathes
