SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working closesly with a primary and secondary SEN School in Preston who are looking for TA's to join them on a full-time basis. The school is a nurturing and inclusive primary SEN school dedicated to providing outstanding education and support for children with diverse learning needs. The Role:
The schooll are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Support Assistant to join their fantastic team. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support for children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
Key Responsibilites:
Supporting pupils with their learning, development, and emotional well-being
Assisting teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
What are we looking for?:
Experience working with children with SEN (desired but not essential)
A patient, caring, and positive attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the children
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
