We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to grow our People Services Team. Main Responsibilities To contribute to the growth and success of the Company providing professional generalist HR advice and guidance to managers and support the HRBPs with case work and projects across the full employee lifecycle. Support managers with all matters relating to employee relations at the earliest opportunity, providing specialist employee relations advice in the management of both informal and formal processes and attend meetings/hearing as and when required. Complete Employee Relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievance and drive case resolution. Provide day to day direction and guidance to the HR Advisor & HR Administrator and as first line escalation. Assist all members of the HR function in providing a comprehensive HR administration service. Support the full employee administration activity in the absence of the HR Administrator including conducting the relevant pre[1]employment, compliance and referencing checks Support recruitment, onboarding and Learning & Development activity, including supporting and preparation of induction activities/days. Understand skills gaps and training needs with stakeholder groups in partnership with the L&D team. Work with stakeholders to address issues such as absence levels and support to effectively manage this through the use of management information and Occupational Health provisions and identify trends and implement initiatives to reduce levels. Monitor and support probation reviews. Managing in conjunction with the HR Administrator and ownership of the HR shared inbox. Completing and creating HR reports and reporting/ad hoc requests for the wider business function. Develop and support with policy reviews and procedures. Assist with the development and implementation of new projects such as employee engagement, DEI and systems development. Support in growing and developing the HRIS. Driving compliance with stakeholder groups. Partnering with the clinical and L&D teams on NSI. Carry out general administration tasks for the function, for example, responding to reference requests, employee requests, booking occupational health appointments, booking probationary and CPD reviews, taking and typing notes at meetings, and ensuring all filling & archiving (paper based and electronic) is completed in a timely manner. What experience and skills are we looking for? At least 2 years' proven experience in a HR Advisory or ER position Demonstratable experience in a similar role and HR function Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and applying them fairly and consistently Qualifications : CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is essential. Ideally be working towards level 7.
