The Cambridgeshire Learning Disability Partnership (LDP) provides an integrated health and social care service for adults with learning disabilities living in Cambridshire. This role will be based in Ely as part of the East LDP Team.
We are recruiting three enthusiastic Band 5 Community Learning Disability Nurses who will work autonomously to manage a caseload, providing assessment and interventions to support adults with learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the delivery of specialist learning disability nursing services under the guidance of a senior nurse.
* Work with identified service users to provide assessment, identify and treat the health needs of adults with a learning disability.
* Travel independently around the county to meet service needs, meeting strict time deadlines.
Requirements
* Band 5 nursing qualification and relevant experience in a community‑based role working with people with learning disabilities.
* Autonomous practice with a proven ability to manage a caseload.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle; public transport is not acceptable for this role.
