Job Description
The Hygiene Team Leader will provide hands-on leadership of the Site Operative team across the site, ensuring that the process of cleaning & site improvement is making progress to satisfy current & future customers.
Location: Whitley Bridge, Goole

Hours: The shift pattern for this role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, however additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the business.
The role:
* Support the Site coordinator in maintaining & improving pest control improvement across the site.
* Ensure that the activities of the Site Operative team are compliant with company Health & Safety standards (risk assessments / safe systems of work are in place for hygiene tasks) and that staff have been trained accordingly.
* Provide supervision, training, development, and lead for the site operative team members.
* Supervision of the team to include organisation of duties, motivation, discipline, communication, objective setting, and performance review.
* Encourage teamwork and develop the team so that continuous improvement is kept live.
* Supervise the activity of the contract cleaning services used on site.
* Engage with our pest control contractor and work though any corrective actions
* Ensure that the hygiene cleaning records are completed.
About you:
* Strong people management experience
* Relevant hygiene Supervision experience
* Ability to plan and schedule cleaning & maintain records.
* Good verbal & basic IT skills
* H&S experience (risk assessment, safe systems of work)
* Delivery focused.
* Intermediate Food Hygiene or equivalent
* Pest control awareness.
