Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a desire to make a difference in the health care environment whilst being committed to excellence in patient care and delivering a high quality administration service to the service users. Working as part of the Administration team for the North Yorkshire Breast Screening Service and the York and Scarborough Breast Symptomatic Service, you will work in close partnership with other members of the breast imaging team and the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high quality, customer responsive, confidential and user-friendly service to patients, their families and all health care professionals that use the service.
The North Yorkshire Breast Screening Service provides a high quality Mammography Service to the North Yorkshire area. You will be part of a team responsible for the administration of the North Yorkshire Breast Screening Service and the Symptomatic Breast Imaging Service using bespoke computer software.

Responsibilities
* Provide high quality administration support within the breast imaging services, working with the administration team and breast imaging colleagues.
* Use bespoke computer software to administer the North Yorkshire Breast Screening Service and the Symptomatic Breast Imaging Service.
* Deliver a customer responsive, confidential and user-friendly service to patients, their families and health care professionals.
* Maintain high standards of accuracy, attention to detail and quality in all administrative tasks.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Excellent computer/IT skills including Microsoft Office packages and good organisational skills.
* The ability to work to high quality standards with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good written and oral communication skills and excellent telephone communication skills.
* A positive attitude to work ethic and willingness to learn and develop; understand patient confidentiality and ability to function as part of a team.
* Knowledge of the Breast Screening Programme and previous experience in an administrative role would be advantageous.
