We are seeking to appoint an individual who has an interest and passion for SEND and working in an EYFS/KS1 environment, to further strengthen our provision and ensure that both pupils and staff are well supported. Roles will vary from small group work and/or supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis as and when required; particularly those individuals with EHCPs or SEN needs. Recent experience of working in an Early Years/ KS1 environment or a well-developed knowledge of this phase is essential to this role. The successful candidate will need to be very flexible and have the capacity to work five days a week (term time only). Why Join Us? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is: Passionate about supporting children with SEND and committed to helping every child thrive. Experienced in, or knowledgeable about, working within an EYFS and/or KS1 setting. Able to support pupils effectively on a 1:1 basis, particularly children with additional needs. Confident in leading or supporting small group activities to help children make progress. Caring, patient and nurturing in their approach to children’s learning and development. Flexible and willing to adapt to the changing needs of pupils and the school. Positive, enthusiastic and bubbly, with a warm and encouraging manner. Able to build strong relationships with children, staff and families. A strong team player who contributes positively to school life.
