This role is 22.5 hours a week, working 8.30am to 4.30pm and covering 3 days out of 7 which will include some weekends.

Job Description
As a Housekeeper you will support the unit in the effective running of the Hotel Services Framework. To be involved with the day to day cleaning on the unit, helping to ensure effective operating standards are achieved.
Previous experience of working in the cleaning sector or a secure environment is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Daily cleaning of all areas in accordance with the Units schedules and specifications, using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods;
To ensure documentation is completed in line with the daily/weekly housekeeping cleaning schedule.
To undertake laundry duties as and when required, including operation of the laundry equipment, This involves sorting, sluicing, washing, drying, ironing and storing;
To undertake the cleaning of the client’s rooms including dusting as and when required and in accordance with the housekeeping cleaning schedule.
To undertake the cleaning of the unit, this will involve use of electrical equipment e.g. vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet cleaners;
To ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned in the appropriate manner. Report any maintenance problems to the Manager immediately after a problem occur, ensuring that an accurate record is made.
Ensure segregation and prompt removal of waste to designated collection points, in accordance with the Company’s Safe Waste Handling Procedures
