The school provides specialist education for children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The role of a Teaching Assistant is integral to the delivery of tailored, high-quality support that enables pupils to thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with special educational needs
* Assist the class teacher in delivering creative and differentiated lessons
* Support students’ emotional regulation and behavioural development
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
Requirements:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
* A calm, patient, and resilient nature
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting the development of children with additional needs
* Right to work in the UK (this school group cannot offer sponsorship)
