The Role: Engine Build Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engine Build Technician to join our Motorsport Engine Team in Banbury. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly and maintenance of high-performance race and rally engines.
Key Responsibilities
 * 
 Strip, prepare, and assemble multi-cylinder race and rally engines — including Aston Martin, V6 turbocharged, four-cylinder turbocharged RX Renault Megane, and turbocharged flat-4 engines.
 * 
 Manage the entire engine build process: stripping, cleaning, inspection, preparation, reassembly, dyno testing, and pre-delivery inspection.
 * 
 Work across all areas of the engine — including cylinder heads, pumps, and throttles.
 * 
 Build engines to exacting specifications and within homologation tolerances.
 * 
 Maintain accurate build records and life-check documentation.
 * 
 Identify and resolve quality issues during the build process.
 * 
 Liaise effectively with engineers and other team members.
 * 
 Provide customer support at workshops or trackside, including occasional international travel.
