Retail Supervisor in Redhill
You’ll be the face of Toolstation, making a fantastic first impression, building long-lasting relationships and going above and beyond to make our customers happy. This isn’t your average retail role. It’s much more than just a store job. As a retail supervisor, you’ll serve customers and support the Store Manager, but you’ll also be checking deliveries, picking items from the warehouse and stocking shelves. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but if you take real pride in what you and the team do, our customers will notice and love us all the more for it.
Responsibilities
* Supporting: stand in for the Store Manager in their absence, motivate and engage the team, and coach the team to grow sales and achieve targets.
* Mucking in: check and unpack deliveries, stock shelves, clean the branch and put orders together.
* Delivering great service: provide a great customer experience with a smile, even when busy, and coach the team to do the same.
* Asking questions and building relationships: ensure customers leave the branch with everything they need for the job.
* Building a fun working environment: maintain product availability and high branch standards, making the branch a place people enjoy coming to work.
* Hard work and passion: retail experience is not required; focus on delivering great service and we’ll teach you the rest.
* A love of teamwork: be willing to muck in and get your hands dirty.
* A positive attitude: ensure customers have a great experience in the branch.
* Reliability: be there when needed, be flexible and easy to work with.
* Be yourself: bring your whole self to work and let your personality shine.
You’ll find every opportunity to be yourself and to bring your personality and potential to work plus many more opportunities to grow in retail within the Travis Perkins Group. You’ll be supported with training and development, including access to Toolstation Academy programmes.
