Overview
Warwickshire’s Separated Children and Leaving Care Team works with care-experienced young people aged 16-25 and young people who are separated children in care and care experience. The team is county-wide with offices in the North and South of the county to enable access for all our young people. This is part of Warwickshire’s Families First approach, focusing on locality working, multi-disciplinary and multi-agency collaboration to support the whole family, building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Manager to join our Leaving Care Service. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who believes that young people leaving care deserve the best possible start in adulthood, especially regarding safe, stable and suitable housing.
In this role, you will:
* Provide strategic oversight of our Supported Lodgings and Staying Put schemes.
* Manage and support a small team of experienced professionals, including:
* Two Housing Advisors who work directly with care-experienced young people to secure appropriate housing.
* One Personal Advisor responsible for assessing supported lodging providers, presenting them to panel, and overseeing Staying Put arrangements.
* Other leaving care staff.
You will play a key role in ensuring that our young people are supported through strong multi-agency partnerships and innovative housing solutions.

Key Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
* Has a strong interest in housing and understands the challenges faced by care-experienced young people.
* Is confident in leading and supporting a team.
* Can build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders, including the Department for Education, district and borough councils, and housing providers.
* Brings a proactive, solution-focused mindset to service development and delivery.
* Experience in housing, social care, or youth services is desirable, but we are open to candidates with transferable skills and a passion for making a difference.
Applicants must possess at least Level 4 qualification in Housing Management that is regulated by Ofqual or 3 years experience in relevant discipline
