Overview
This exciting role is within our South Region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our South Central or South West offices.
Our clients include UK-headquartered businesses and inbound groups across various sectors.
Our work in tax advisory includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change, such as advising on new jurisdiction entry, business reorganizations, tax authority inquiries, pre/post transaction reorganizations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility, and global fiscal changes (BEPS Pillar 2).
We operate as a hybrid team, meeting in the office or at client sites at least twice a week, with flexibility for the rest of your time.
The Role
* Being a primary contact for a portfolio of clients on daily tax matters, collaborating with Senior Managers and Managers on larger accounts.
* Supporting tax advisory projects with UK corporation tax input, research, and coordination with other tax areas and overseas firms.
* Keeping clients informed about emerging corporate and tax developments affecting their business.
* Supporting UK corporation tax compliance services.
* Supervising junior staff work and providing coaching for their development.
* Assisting Managers and Senior Managers with client account management, quality, risk, and financial procedures.
* Supporting leadership in business development opportunities.
The person
* Qualified CTA or ACA / CA or equivalent.
* Experience in UK corporation tax.
* Problem analysis, core issue identification, investigation, evaluation, and information integration skills.
* Effective communication skills: open, honest, clear, and impactful.
