Teacher / Curriculum Improvement Team Leader in Counselling (Part-time)

Role Overview
You will be an experienced and enthusiastic part‑time counselling teacher, responsible for inspiring an eager cohort of adult learners and developing the course to new levels of satisfaction and success. The current curriculum offers Counselling at Levels 2, 3 and 4; the successful candidate will teach on Level 4.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach and develop the Level 4 Counselling course.
* Commit to completing a teaching qualification alongside your teaching.
* Participate in safeguarding and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
* Work within the School of Apprenticeships and Adult Learning to achieve outstanding learner outcomes.
* Consider potential course leadership role, depending on suitability.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant teaching or professional counselling experience.
* A teaching qualification is desirable; willing to pursue one if not already held.
* Meeting the further requirements of the awarding body (see Person Specification for details).
* Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable individuals.
Remuneration & Hours
Up to £48,309 per annum, plus Band 1 £1,146 per annum for CIT Leadership – Pay Award Pending.
Hours to be discussed at interview and confirmed on appointment.
