Our Global CIO is leading a significant evolution of our Enterprise Technology capabilities, bringing together over 2,500 technology professionals into an integrated global team. This team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions. WPP Media is WPP’s global media collective. We offer the industry’s most advanced platform for scaled and integrated creative, production, data, commerce, and personalized media delivery services. We enable brands to unify media, data, and production while holistically managing their owned, earned, shared, and paid activities. All backed by our best-in-class connected commerce, measurement and analytics capabilities. Your role is the architect to bring these worlds together, enabling WPP Media to be relentlessly client and data focused, underpinned by common enterprise technologies that run the business globally, simplifying the way we operate and enabling more dynamic, considered decision-making. What you'll be doing: Define relevant standard business architecture templates (e.g., methods, models, blueprints, etc.) Collaborate with senior business leaders to determine M edia business capabilities Collaborate with senior leaders to determine relevant M edia application needs Architect & maintain enterprise media business capability models (BCMs) & roadmaps Architect & maintain enterprise media application architecture models and roadmaps Manage media architecture compliance of new projects based on WPP standards Monitor, evaluate and communicate M edia business and technology trends Monitor, evaluate and communicate m edia Agencies application trends Advise and support media related platforms, products & projects across the relevant lifecycle stage (e.g., Plan, Analyse, Design, Build, Test, Evolve) Preventing the markets from introducing non-standard WPP technology whilst providing an alternative that does comply with standards Re-architect Client and/or Product Tech emerging from Operating model changes Architect the Transition of products from WPP Media to WPP ET and vice versa as part of the integration into the One WPP Model Key 2026 Priorities: Establish trusted business advisory relationships with WPP M edia stakeholders Document Business Capability Models, Process Maps & Roadmaps for the media clusters Align Business Capabilities with relevant Application, Data, Technology and Security Architectures Discover and maintain data related to the media technology asset portfolio (e.g., applications, data, security & infrastructure) Define the future state media technology asset portfolio (e.g., applications, data, security & infrastructure) Focus on WPP ET goals that require architecting to align WPP Media to the rest of WPP ET, particularly in the area of AI capabilities What you'll need: Extensive experience with Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF®) and/or credentials Extensive experience with Business Architecture and/or credentials Extensive experience in Business Capability Modeling & Road-mapping Extensive experience in Business Process Modeling & Value Stream Analysis Extensive experience in Business Requirements gathering Extensive Experience of Media Production tools. Extensive Experience of Key technology development with Public Cloud, including DevOps Extensive workflow/business process design experience in Media businesses Working knowledge of modern application platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday) Understanding of Data modelling and application and data integration patterns and technologies Understanding of modern technologies (e.g., Cloud Computing, Identity Asset Management, etc.) Understanding on AI, key products in the marketing space Excellent leadership, interpersonal & stakeholder management skills Exceptional remote working collaboration skills using the Microsoft 365 ecosystem Superb negotiation skills Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills Who you are: You're open : We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
