User Researcher – Public Sector Contract
Day Rate: £525–£565 (Inside IR35)
Location: Remote-first
Length: 6 month - rolling
Our client is looking for an experienced User Researcher with current (or eligible) SC clearance to support a major public sector transformation initiative. This is an opportunity to work with a consultancy delivering critical services that shape how government interacts with citizens.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven track record delivering user research in government and UCD environments.
* Strong knowledge of GDS principles and agile ways of working.
* Experience designing, planning, and conducting research that drives service and interaction design.
* Ability to map services end-to-end, uncover friction points, and develop solutions collaboratively with stakeholders.
* Comfortable presenting insights and running workshops to embed user-centred thinking across teams.
Contract details:
* Rate: £525–£565 per day (Inside IR35).
* Clearance: Active SC or eligible to obtain.
* Start date: Immediate.
* Remote-first role with occasional travel as required.
