As the Payroll Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the end-to-end payroll process while developing your technical knowledge. You'll work closely with experienced payroll professionals, gaining exposure to: Processing monthly and weekly payrolls Supporting payroll queries and providing excellent internal service Working with pensions, including auto-enrolment and contributions Assisting with payroll changes, starters/leavers, and data accuracy Participating in payroll projects, system improvements, and process reviews Ensuring compliance with legislation and internal controls What They Are Looking For : Ideally 6-18 months' payroll experience (or similar administrative experience with strong numeracy) Keen to take the next step in your payroll career with more responsibility Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn Confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team Basic understanding of payroll legislation (desirable, not essential) This opportunity will provide you with hands-on training with a knowledgeable and friendly team, exposure to technical payroll tasks, pensions, and project work.
