Locum Consultant in Radiology - UK-Wide Opportunities | Medacs Healthcare
Job Title: Locum Consultant Radiologist - various sub specialties available
Location: West Yorkshire, UK
Rate: £100-£120ph. PAYE only
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: From ASAP for 3 months initially. Possibility of extension
Details: We would benefit from locums working with us week on week to pick up the elective and on call gaps, could look at 6 months and review.
* MSK - 1 WTE (full time) to assist with ultrasound and fluoroscopy MSK interventional radiology, MSK cross sectional image reporting, general radiology cross sectional image reporting, acute CT cover, OOH on call cover where required, vetting of requests
* Paediatric - 0.5 WTE (2.5 days pw) to assist with paediatric fluoroscopy, paediatric ultrasound, non-accidental injury reporting, paediatric plain film and cross sectional image reporting, general radiology cross sectional image reporting, acute CT cover, OOH on call cover where required, vetting of requests
* Breast - 0.5 WTE (2.5 days pw) to assist with one stop breast clinics, breast MRI reporting, mammo reporting, general radiology cross sectional image reporting, breast intervention (including stereocore biopsies, ultrasound guided biopsies, including magseed and magtrace, hook wires etc), MDT prep and attendance, acute CT cover, OOH on call cover where required, vetting of requests
* Lung and Cardiac - 1 WTE (full time) to assist with CT guided lung biopsies, MDT prep and attendance, CT cardiac lists and reporting, lung cross sectional image reporting, general cross sectional image reporting, acute CT cover, OOH on call cover where required, vetting of requests
Candidate requirements:
1. Experience of working in the NHS.
2. Standalone Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
3. RCR Accredited.
4. Able to undertake reporting of cross-sectional imaging (CT/MRI), with willingness to report on plain imaging (X-ray) too.
5. Ability to work on site.

What We're Looking For
Essential:
15. MBBS or equivalent medical degree
16. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
17. A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
18. UK Right to Work
19. Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
20. CCT in Radiology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
