Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Scarborough
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are seeking a proactive Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist secondary provision supporting pupils with challenging behaviour in the Scarborough area.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
* Support pupils in managing behaviour and accessing learning.
* Implement behaviour support and de-escalation strategies.
* Promote positive routines, boundaries and expectations.
* Support classroom and intervention-based learning.
* Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams.
Requirements
* Experience supporting behaviour in education or youth settings.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
* Resilience, patience and emotional intelligence.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
