Overview
A reputable Engineering & Manufacturing business in Accrington is expanding and now seeking multiple Welder Fabricator professionals to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Welder Fabricator will be responsible for high‑quality MIG and TIG welding and fabrication work across pipework, structural steel, sheet metal, and bespoke metal components.
Responsibilities
* Perform MIG & TIG welding to a high standard
* Fabricate components in stainless steel
* Work confidently from detailed engineering drawings
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high‑quality output
* Maintain a safe, efficient, and productive working environment
Requirements
* Level 3 City & Guilds qualified (or equivalent) – essential
* Proven MIG & TIG welding experience
* Strong fabrication background
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Excellent attention to detail and work ethic
Hours & Pay
40 hours per week
* Mon – Thurs: 6:30am – 5:00pm
* Includes a 30‑minute unpaid lunch
* Includes a 15‑minute paid morning break (approx. 10:00am)
Overtime Rates
* Friday: x1.5
* Saturday: x1.5
* Sunday: x2
Pay: £17.20 per hour (Level 3 qualified)
