We are currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to join the Quality Control (QC) team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to support the ADQC department, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
1. The monitoring and controlling of temperature units within highly regulated laboratories.
2. To liaise and work with Equipment Engineering team and external engineers to organize equipment servicing and equipment repair
3. Provide support for equipment maintenance including equipment files and service contracts.
4. To clean and maintain the laboratory equipment and facilities.
5. To operate an autoclave and dispose of waste materials.
6. Support the ASG pipette clinic including cleaning and preparing pipettes.
7. Oversee, maintain, and ensure quality of key stock consumables.
8. Completing of Quality Records
We are looking for:
9. Educated to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent qualification level or able to demonstrate required skills gained within another workplace.
10. A genuine interest and drive to work in science.
11. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
12. Highly organised and motivated with excellent attention to detail.
13. Knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel & Outlook.
