Fantastic opportunity to run anew build Industrial & Logistics project as Lead Quantity Surveyor on the project. Do you have current or previous experience of industrial & logistics projects within a main contracting environment?
Our client is a leading tier 2 contractor delivering complex industrial & logistics building projects across the UK. Projects ranging in value from £20m upwards.
We would like to talk to Senior Quantity Surveyors or Quantity Surveyors who can be commercial lead on projects, taking full responsibility for projects from procurement stage through to final accounts.
The ideal candidate will have strengths in the following areas:
1. Proven experience either current or previous in the industrial sector
2. A mid-tier or tier 2 contractor background
3. Ability to lead and manage Junior/Apprentice Quantity Surveyors
4. Have strong sub-contract negotiation, procurement and management skills
5. Confidently take full responsibility for all commercial activity on the project and provide ongoing analysis and reporting to Commercial Director
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. A collaborative approach
