ZG Recruitment is recruiting for a Support Practitioner to work alongside a great established team supporting children aged 8 to 17. This employer offers residential care services and provides comprehensive services, including 24/7 residential care, educational support, mental health support and therapeutic interventions. Currently, they have opened a home in Wellingborough, opening a home in Northampton and plan to open more within the county when the time is right.
The UK is experiencing an increasing demand for high-quality residential care services for children who are unable to live with their families due to various reasons including neglect, abuse or family breakdown. To address this growing need, this organisation aims to establish children's homes that will provide a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the overall well-being and development of the children in their care.

A ‘get up and go’ attitude - wanting to take the children out, supporting fun activities with them and generally be creative with your days.
It would be ideal to have some care experience, but this is not essential.
The ability and commitment to complete a QCF Level 4 in Children and Young People qualification.
Full driving licence.
Job outline;
Responsible for the supervision of young people at a children’s home providing advice, care and stability for the children and young people ensuring they are treated equally and provided with equal opportunities on a daily basis. Liaising with external agencies, other departments within company, Social Workers and other professionals.
