Salary: £37,000 – £56,000 (MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance)

About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school supporting students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and complex needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher to work in a highly supportive environment, delivering personalised learning to students with a range of needs including autism, non-verbal communication, and behavioural challenges.
As an SEN Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a class, supported by a team of teaching assistants, and play a key role in developing individual learning plans and supporting student progress both academically and socially.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons as an SEN Teacher
* Support students with SLD and complex needs, including non-verbal learners
* Manage behaviour using structured approaches (e.g. PBS)
* Lead and direct support staff within the classroom
* Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and reports
* Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working as an SEN Teacher or within a specialist SEN setting
* Strong understanding of SLD and complex needs
* Confident behaviour management skills
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs
