Senior Market Research Executive
Job Location: Flexible across the UK
Salary: £36,556 to £40,038 per annum
Hours: 35 per week
3 months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Can you manage and do research to enable the British Red Cross to comprehend its audiences, opportunities and relevant trends? Could you guide brand and marketing teams, and other colleagues on how best to communicate externally? And evaluate advertising?
What will a Senior Market Research Executive's job involve? Helping the organisation to appreciate and communicate with key target audience segments.
Assist new product and programme development by researching the market.
Proactively seek and share insight to assist the strategy and remain alert to changes in audience attention.
Help to upskill the organisation in why and how to use research (or not), as well as responding to requests for technical advice.
Manage the end-to-end process for commissioning qualitative and quantitative primary research, in accordance with the MRS code of conduct.
What will a Senior Market Research Executive need to be successful? Excellent quantitative research skills, gained from good working experience, in either clientside research function, or research agency roles.
A flair for good questionnaire design.
Good comprehension or experience of qualitative research management.
Experience championing the development and monitoring the impact of brand and other communications activity.
Experience in management of external research supplies.
Ability to translate internal client requests into research briefs.
Ability to gather and collate evidence from diverse sources, evaluate it and use it to answer strategic questions.
