The School of Engineering and Physical Sciences is a diverse community of students and staff who work together to further knowledge and understanding in a broad range of engineering, computer science, mathematics and physics disciplines across a spectrum of undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees, funded research and consultancy.
Our research includes several important research groupings including “L-CAS” Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems Research (L-CAS); Centre for Computational Physics and Sustainable Energy and Power Research Group.
Responsibilities
* The post holder is primarily expected to contribute to the School\'s teaching activities to support the delivery and development of cybersecurity focused modules across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
* You will deliver modules in core computer science and contribute specifically to those related to Cybersecurity, including topics such as information governance, mitigation strategies, network security, attacks and countermeasures, and cloud security concepts.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess a PhD or equivalent experience, ideally in computer or information science and preferably with a track record in the delivery of study modules at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Industrial experience is particularly welcome.
* You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the University’s high standards in teaching and learning. Your professional interests and research will form an integral part of the programme leadership team, working together with the other academics in the School.
