Role Details
We are currently seeking two dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Assistants to join our catering team at Dumfries and Galloway College. These roles offer a great opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment, contributing to the daily food service operations within the college.
Position 1
* Hours: 20 hours per week
* Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 09:30 – 14:30
* Salary: £9,407.16 per annum (equivalent to £9.01 per hour)
Position 2
* Hours: 30 hours per week
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 15:00
* Salary: £14,110.74 per annum (equivalent to £9.10 per hour)
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas
* Support the catering team with general duties
* Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
Candidate Requirements
* Previous catering or food service experience preferred
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good communication skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and positive approach to work
