We value health promotion through patient empowerment and education, and are seeking an enthusiastic podiatrist with excellent communication and assessment skills to undertake new patient assessments, clinics, and diabetic foot reviews. There is potential to rotate through wound care, nail surgery and musculoskeletal clinics. The role is primarily based in a clinical setting with a blended mix of virtual and face‑to‑face assessments. The post requires a flexible and reliable team member who demonstrates empathy, resilience and problem solving skills. This post is based in Central and West Cornwall and is full time, Monday to Friday. It is a community‑based role that may require travel to various locations throughout the county, including areas not accessible by public transport.
This post is suitable for a newly qualified podiatrist and we are happy to take applications from therapists in the final stages of finishing their degree.
Main duties / Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive, highly skilled clinical support to Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust Podiatry Team.
* Experience a full range of podiatry care provision through a blended mix of service delivery both virtual and face‑to‑face.
* Share best practice with podiatrists and other relevant clinicians; involve patients, carers and support agencies in delivery of care.
* Manage clinical caseloads with clinical supervision provided within the CPFT Podiatry structure.

Qualifications
* Current professional registration – HCPC
* Professional qualification – Dip Pod M, BSc (Hons) Podiatry
* Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
Knowledge
* Possess a good holistic knowledge of care
* Knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practice
Personal Qualities
* Able to work on own initiative
* Good team worker
Skills
* Ability to demonstrate good clinical skills
