Grade I £41,771 – £46,142 (pay award pending) plus essential car user allowance. Contract: Permanent.
Role Summary
Senior Occupational Therapist within The Independent Living Service.
Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments/reviews of need under Care Act 2014.
* Provide advice, techniques, equipment and adaptations and deliver necessary support.
* Link individuals to universal and voluntary services.
* Assist colleagues across other service areas, including specialist assessments, moving & handling assessments and adaptation recommendations.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team working and build relationships with people and carer.
* Contribute to innovation and improve service user experience, wellbeing and independence.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Full driving licence.
* Health Professions Council registration.
* Minimum three years post‑qualification experience.
* Enhanced Clearance from Disclosure and Barring Service.
* Specified level of spoken English.
