Offer description

Overview

MAN v FAT Football provide 14 week, small sided football leagues designed to support overweight men to improve their physical and mental health. Launched in 2016 by male weight loss specialists, MAN v FAT appeals to men who love football and hate being fat. The coach weighs each player before their game and players earn bonus goals for their weight loss, so the league is decided not only on points won but pounds lost. The programme has grown across the UK, and has endorsements from the FA and Sport England. We now have over 150 clubs across the UK. This role is for a dedicated MAN v FAT Health and Wellbeing Coach to support players and ensure the smooth running and high performance of our club based at North Oxfordshire Academy, OX16 0UD (Friday, from 7 - 8pm). Please note: this role does not involve training the players on the pitch or instructing exercise of any kind; it is not a football coaching role. The position is about supporting and motivating players to make healthy lifestyle changes, facilitating a safe and effective session and completing league related admin tasks.

Contract & Hours

* Contract: This is a sessional role (3 hours a week) with potential to expand as clubs grow.
