Role Overview:
As a Handyperson, you’ll support the Site Manager and Head Teacher with:
* Carrying out basic maintenance, repairs, decorating, and general DIY tasks.
* Opening, closing, and securing the school premises.
* Monitoring the condition of buildings and reporting any issues.
* Handling deliveries safely and ensuring correct storage.
* Keeping outdoor areas tidy and hazard-free.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in caretaking, site management, or facilities maintenance.
Good understanding of health and safety, fire safety, and security procedures.
Basic knowledge of DIY, maintenance, and cleaning practices (COSHH awareness desirable).
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Flexible to work shifts
Clear communication skills and a helpful approach.
