A well-established and dynamicpany specialising in accountancy and tax advisory services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join its team. Thepany provides tailored financial solutions to a diverse client base, including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, and multinational corporations.This role is integral to the organisation, offering the opportunity to work closely with clients, providing expert accounting and tax knowledge while bing a trusted advisor. Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a portfolio of clients, including reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limitedpanies, partnerships, and sole traders for senior review.
2. Reviewing corporation taxputations and returns.
3. Reviewing monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard.
4. Assisting with the onboarding and management of new client relationships.
5. Liaising with clients on technical queries, understanding their requirements, and providing solutions.
6. Training and mentoring junior team members, assisting with workflow management.
7. Delivering excellent client service.
8. Supporting senior management with ad-hoc tasks.
Desired Skills & Experience:
9. ACA/ACCA qualified with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience.
10. Minimum 3–4 years’ experience working in practice.
11. Knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
12. Familiarity with accounting systems such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (preferred but not essential).
13. Strong client relationship skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
14. Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
15. Attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
16. A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines.
