Working Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Worker Type: Hybrid

Salary: Starting Salary is £31,586 rising to £34,314 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Location: Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3NG

About the Role

The role will be within our single point of access team (SPA), providing brief assessments and short-term evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families (main communication for this role will be virtual using MS Teams and telephone. The successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality, brief outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties.

There are two full-time positions and one part-time position (18.5 hours a week). The role is Hybrid, based across our office base (around 3 days a week, which could increase with service needs) and working remotely from home.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Undergraduate degree in Psychology or related subject, or Successful completion of Certificate in Children’s Wellbeing Practice (CWP), with post qualification experience as a CWP ( Qualification for PWP or equivalent will be considered.
2. Experience of working with children and young people, their families and others in educational and health settings with mild to moderate mental health problems
3. Strong understanding of how to work with children and young people who have social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
4. Ability to make an assessment of risk and to record and communicate it appropriately, and to take appropriate action to mitigate or manage

- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
