Join Our Team as a Positive Behaviour Support Worker - Drivers Only
Location:
Waterlooville, Hampshire
Salary:
£12.30 per hour (£23,985 pro-rata) plus benefits.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week, 14-hour shifts from 7.30am to 9.30pm, Monday to Sunday (on a two-week rolling rota basis, including every other weekend).
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent
Driving Requirement:
A valid full UK driving license is essential. You will be required to drive an automatic vehicle.
Right to Work:
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas.
Essential Criteria
You should demonstrate experience in:
* Autism and Learning Disabilities
* Behaviours that Challenge
* Positive Behaviour Support
* Eating Disorders or Nutritional Requirements, ideally ARFID
* UK Driving License
About You

What You Will Be Doing
As a Positive Behaviour Support Worker, your role includes:
* Daily Care & Support: Assisting with personal care, meals, medication, and daily tasks.
* Building Relationships: Getting to know those you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live independently.
* Empowering Independence: Supporting personal goals and encouraging exploration.
* Social Engagement: Supporting participation in activities, hobbies, and community involvement.
* Respect & Dignity: Ensuring respectful and dignified treatment for individuals and their families.
Supporting an Individual:
For example, supporting someone who enjoys activities like zip wires, hydrotherapy, trampolining, walking, and using an iPad, while managing autism and challenging behaviours.
